You have the option to bulk add answers and, in the case of tables, to bulk add questions as well. This is helpful when you have a long list of items to add for something like a scale that you use often. Or, maybe it's something like a list of states that you can copy and paste from another document or website. You can save a lot of time by using the bulk add feature. Simply copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-P) the items into the Bulk Add Questions dialog box, which you get to from the gear icon.
The piping character, followed by a number, lets you specify a weight when adding weighted answers. You can manually type the answers into the field, or copy/paste them. There isn't a paste feature within the dialog box, so you need to use the CTRL-V key combination to paste the values.
