Filter Matching

You can add as many filter criteria as you want and choose whether to match All conditions (AND) or match Any conditions (OR). Keep in mind that when you use All, every additional criteria will further restrict the result set. For example, let's say you have defined two conditions with All as the match condition:

The respondent filter will select only respondents for whom both conditions are true: those who have been customers for less than 1 year and who answered Strongly Agree to the question about recommending the organization to friends and colleagues. If you use Any, the result set will be larger with each criteria since a response will be included if it matches any single condition in the list

Single Response Phrase

A single response phrase means you have indicated a single answer from the Answer drop-down list. In addition to "Equals" and "Not Equal", you can use other conditional operators with certain question types.

Multiple Response Phrase

A multiple response phrase is one where you have indicated multiple answers in the Answer drop-down list. For example, for the question "Which states are in your sales territory?", you selected "Utah, Texas, California". Multiple response matching can be applied only to choose-one and choose-many questions.
